The South Sudanese government has rejected the United States’ proposed deployment of an additional 4000 UN troops to the country. The government maintains the situation is calm at the moment – despite claims to the contrary by supporters of former vice president Riek Machar. South Sudan says it’s only prepared to work with the IGAD-proposed regional protection force. CCTV’s Patrick Oyet reports from Juba.
