Mogadishu (HAN) March 20. 2016. Public Diplomacy & Regional Security News.The Somali National Army (SNA) commander (CDF) the chief of the armed forces completed training of hundred of the third batch of new commandos trained by Americans in Bali-doogle Air-force base, near Mogadishu.
Somali defense officials and American forces attended the closing ceremony held in Balidoogle in Mogadishu on Sunday morning.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, CDF of National Army (SNA) has urged soldiers who completed the training to uphold professionalism and work effectively towards peace and stability restoration of the country.
The commander of national Army (SNA) encouraged the newly trained soldiers to execute their duties and fight against the Al-shabaab threatening the country’s security and stability.
“I congratulate you on your graduation of the training conducted by Americans. Security is the core pillar of the country’s rebuilding and development. Hope you will contribute in the fight against the Al Qaeda-linked Al shabaab group,” said Somali defense forces commander.
