ADDIS ABABA (HAN) July 6.2016. Public Diplomacy & Regional Security News. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrives in Addis Ababa this afternoon to start his official visit to Ethiopia.
During in his stay in the country, it is expected that the premier will meet with Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn and President Mulatu Teshome to discuss on bilateral relationship.
Netanyahu who made his official visit to Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya is paying his final Africa visit to Ethiopia.
The Israeli leader’s visit will prompt the signing of different agreements that would benefit the two countries.
Netanyahu will address the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) on Thursday 7 July 2016 and is expected to visit the Ethiopian National Museum.
The Israeli leader who is accompanied by some 60 heads of Israeli companies will participate on the Ethio-Israeli Business Forum.
Ethiopia and Israel have long standing historical and religious relationship and recently they are working to expand their trade ties.
The bilateral ties between the two countries was established in 1956, it was learnt.
