Former Kenyan President Daniel arap Moi was Friday hospitalised.
Reports said Mr Moi underwent a minor surgery on his knee at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi, before being released.
Mr Moi, born in 1924, ruled Kenya for 24 years from August 1978.
He succeeded the founding President Jomo Kenyatta, who died in office.
