Addis Ababa –Ethiopia’s COVID19 cases surged past 73,000 after the country reported 632 new cases yesterday.
The new cases were reported out of the 6,631 laboratory tests conducted in 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, the number of confirmed cases now stands at 73,332.
The death toll from the virus also jumped to 1,170 after 5 people died in the reported period.
Some 334 patients have recovered from the virus to bring the total recoveries to 30,363.
The country has so far conducted 1,256,182 laboratory tests.
