Ethiopian Embassy in Paris has raised 12,000 Euro from the Diaspora community in France, Span and Portugal to financially support the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).
Exchange of ideas on how to consolidate technical and diplomatic support has been held during the fundraising session, it is indicated.
The fundraising endeavors created an opportunity to members of the Diaspora Community in the three countries to form solidarity towards national interests of their homeland, the Embassy underlined.
The Ethiopian Embassy in Paris added Ethiopians living in France, Spain and Portugal have pledged continued support for the successful completion of GERD.
