Addis Ababa, November 20, 2020 – Germen Developent Cooperatin and Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture launched a 9 Million US Dollars joint project on Thursday.
The Project entitled “Support Responsible Agricultural Investments” is funded by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, according to the Embassy in Addis Ababa.
According to German Embassy in Addis Ababa, local government bodies, communities and private investors will be supported to manage land resources and 511 commercial agricultural investments with greater efficiency, transparency, and inclusiveness.
The embassy also stated that 10,750 marginalised households benefit from access to rural land in Amhara, Benshangul-Gumuz and Gambella Regional States.
