South Sudan opposition rejects appointment of new VP

In Ethiopia, the representative office of South Sudan’s opposition has objected to the appointment of Taban Deng Gai as the country’s first vice president. Deng Gai was sworn in after Riek Machar failed to return to Juba by President Salva Kiir’s deadline.
