Asmara (HAN) February 24, 2016 – Public Diplomacy and Regional Stability Initiatives News. A seminar on the role of society in crime prevention and exposing culprits to law enforcement units was conducted in Kumhulen and Lahazien administrative districts of Foro sub-zone.
Police Commissioner of the sub-zone, Lieutenant Endrias Tesfagergish, called on residents to inform the police upon witnessing crimes and reiterated the official prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). He further indicated that those charged of crimes would undergo due process under the law.
The commissioner called on everyone to carry with them, at all times, necessary documents and identity cards and to nurture responsible youth that are free from addictions.
