United Nation’s Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has praised Somalia’s recovery efforts in spite of several challenges. But, the Secretary General warned Somali leaders to step down once their term ends.
Meanwhile, John Kerry’s remarks at today’s UN meetingg on International Peace & Security and Countering Terrorism Secretary Kerry: “I appreciate the fact that Somalia’s president has chosen to focus on this issue, and I welcome the opportunity to talk about the urgent challenge of countering terrorism in Somalia and the Horn of Africa.”
