Somalia: Foreign Minister Beyle Meets Yemeni President

SANAA (HAN) November 27, 2014 – Diplomacy and Regional Security and safety news. The Yemeni Prime Minister Khaled Bahah held talks with visiting Somali Foreign Minister Abdirahman Duale Beyle on November 25, 2014. Discussions covered cooperative relations and ways to consolidate bilateral relations in different areas.

The two sides agreed on the formation of a Yemeni-Somali Joint Technical Committee to translate the keenness of the two countries to boost cooperation and to follow up the implementation of the agreements signed between them. During their meeting Prime Minister Bahah and Foreign Minister Beyle also discussed developments in Somalia and what has been achieved so far within the framework of national reconciliation towards realizing the overall security and stability for the Somali people. The Prime Minister underlined Yemen’s support for all efforts aimed at bringing peace in Somalia

Yemen President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi also met Somali Foreign Minister Abdirahman Duale Beyle, who is currently visiting Yemen.

Somali Foreign Minister briefed President Hadi on the results of his meetings with Yemeni officials at the ministries of fisheries and industry and trade
