Ethiopia: Hotel Industry Building Positive Image

ADDIS ABABA (HAN) December 23, 2015 – Public Diplomacy and Regional Stability Initiatives News. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs said that the hotel industry is contributing a lot in building positive image and speeding up economic development of the country.

Opening the conference jointly organized by the Ethiopian Employers’ Federation (EEF) Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), Labour and Social Affairs Minister Abdulfetah Abdulahi said that the hotel industry has significant potential towards development and is tremendously contributing to the ongoing economic growth.

President of the Ethiopian Employers’ Federation and Ethiopian Hotel Employers’ Association, Tadele Yemer said on his part that the Federation, has diligently finalized preparation to protect private owners’ rights, interests and create decent competitive spirit by exerting maximum efforts in supporting the GTP II targets thereby addressing poverty reduction mission.

It was learnt that participants drawn from Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Gambella, Harar, Makalle, Dire Dawa and Somali and Oromia States attended the conference. The participants also ratified the regulation that was presented by the Association. Source: theethiopianherald
