Djibouti: Turkish signed a regional security and defense agreements

Djibouti (HAN) January 25, 2015- Public diplomacy and National Security issues. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid an official visit to Djibouti. Erdoğan asked EU questions in Djibouti on Saturday at a joint press conference with his Djiboutian counterpart, Ismail Omar Guelleh.

Erdoğan noted that the EU “has to accept” Turkish membership, otherwise the EU would prove claims that it is a “Christian club.”

President Erdoğan was welcomed by Djibouti President Ismail Omer Guelleh and his spouse Kadra Mahamoud Haid at Djibouti Airport.

Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtuluş and Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu accompany Erdoğan during his visit.
