Somaliland: Gebre’s Diplomatic Meeting with Mohamed Bihi Yonis

Hargeisa (HAN) January 17, 2015- Public diplomacy and Regional Security and safety news. The Ethiopian Ambassador Berhane Gebre-Christos meets Foreign Minister of Somaliland.

The Ethiopian State Minister, Ambassador Berhane Gebre-Chiristos holds talks with Mohamed Bihi Yonis, Minister of Foreign Affairs and international Cooperation of Somaliland on Friday  at his offices in Addis Ababa.

The planned technical meeting between Ethiopia and Somaliland in focus

 

The two sides discussed on ways of ensuring border security and related issues. The Somaliland Foreign Minister Mohamed Bihi Younis and Ambassador Berhane also exchanged views with regard to recent talks between Somaliland leadership and the Federal Government of Somalia in Djibouti, the planned technical meeting between Ethiopia and Somaliland and the upcoming election in Somaliland and other common interest issues.
