Hargeisa (HAN) December 2, 2014. Public diplomacy and National security news.  The third phase of core Negotiations are expected to resume in Turkey between the Federal Government of Somalia seated in Mogadishu and Somaliland.

The Somaliland delegation will include Minister of Presidential Affairs Hersi Ali Haji Hassan, Foreign Minister Mohamed Bihi Yonis, and other deputies.

Delegates representing the Federal Government of Somalia are also  in Turkey to discuss, the Five Core Concerns of Negotiations in Turkey.

Talks are due to begin; however, no official date has been released by the Turkish government on when the negotiations will resume.

Negotiations between the Federal Government of Somalia and Somaliland were previously stalled due to political infighting within Somalia’s executive branch.
Somaliland is pushing for international recognition as an independent country, but Somalia’s Federal Government says that it is committed to maintaining a unified nation.

Good point Mr Ahmed, but you forgot that these states you mentioned where never countries before, wears somaliland was a separated from Italian Somaliland for about 80 years, was briefly recognised by 35 states. Moreover the union between the British Somaliland and Italian Somaliland was illegal because the Harggeisa draft of constitution was ignored and Mugdisho adopted its own version without consulting with hargeisa about their union prior inception. As a lawyer i would beg you to look into that and please feel free to write back. So things were soar from the get go to the fall of the state.

Well said Jack, It is unfortunate that the Southern Somalis resort to such weak and shameful arguments for the sake of fake Somaliwayne “dream” AKA rule as much land and people as possible.
