Djibouti: The Somali American Community are Hosting Ismail Omar

Minnesota (HAN) August 5, 2014 – Community and Public Diplomacy Event for IGAD Countries. The Somali American Community of Mannisota Is Hosting this week, the president of Djibouti Ismail Omar Geele.


There is so much the people of Somalia owe Djibouti and its people as you all remember in 2000 Djibouti organized the first all-inclusive Somali Conference at Arta, Djibouti which President Abdiqasim Salaad Hassan was elected. To this day Djibouti its Armed forces (AMISOM) are stationed in Somalia in conjunction with African Union’s peacekeeping mission in Somalia.


Event date and Location: Thursday August 7, 2014 at Hyatt Regency Hotel the President of Djibouti will be here and we thank him for accepting our invitation from Djibouti, Somali Communities in Minnesota. Please come and join presidential event to welcome and recognize H.E. Ismail Omar Guelleh President of Djibouti for his exemplary contribution toward peace in Somalia.
