Eritrea: Eu-Africa Summit Accused an “Evil Empire”

Asmara (HAN) December 1st, 2017 – Public Diplomacy & Regional Humanitarian Initiatives. According to the EU-Africa Summit held in Ivory Coast, the European Union has been accused of funding an evil Eritrean empire which has forced more than 100,000 civilians to flee across Eritrean neighboring borders. Thousands of Eritreans Face Torture and Death as they Flee from Eritrean forced military camps (soviet style military).

Eritrean leader makes shocking message for EU role as it threatens to widen conflict between Eritrean government and its people, while EU he said are supporting Ethiopian strategy against Eritreans in the Horn of Africa.

The Eritrean President Isias Afewerki blocks the diaspora payments until the person sends a 2 per cent annual tax to the Eritrea’s National treasury Banks.

Eritreans living in the West are estimated to send $700 Million a year back to their families in Eritrea.

One Eritrean national, now living in London, said: “It is basically a ransom, but if we don’t pay it our families will starve.”

European leaders are planning to visit refugee camps in Ethiopia to learn how to manage the stream of asylum seekers arriving on Italian, Greek and Spanish shores.
Meanwhile, Italy are struggling to manage the arrival of people crossing the Mediterranean, Ethiopia is also has experience in dealing with hundreds of thousands of people arriving from Eritrea and other neighboring regions.
