Bill Gates to spend $5 billion in Africa’s health sector

Billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has been sharing his plans of spending 5 billion U.S. dollars on the continent in the next five years. The Horn of Africa country is one of the biggest recipients of funds from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It has invested heavily in Africa tackling a wide range of issues in healthcare, education, women’s rights and poverty alleviation. But Gates still feels, there is much needed to be done to tackle HIV/AIDS and health in general.
