During the occasion, Ambassador Ayalew appreciated Kazakhstan’s opening of an embassy in Addis Ababa and pointed out that it would help strengthen the relations of the two countries.
The ambassador, who noted that Ethiopia is among the rapid developing countries, said it has also favorable environment for investors that want to engage in manufacturing, agro-processing, energy, and others areas.
The government will provide support for Kazakh investors, he stated.
Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State, Gulshara Abdykhalikova, said her country would make Ethiopia its main partner in its relations with Africa.
The relation of the two countries should be strengthened in the economic, trade, education and culture spheres, she added.
She further stated that her government will provide the necessary support for the ambassador in his effort to enhance the tie between the two countries during his stay in Kazakhstan.
