Somalia: Iran Rejected Accusations, "Iranian Disguised as Diplomats"

MOGADISHU (HAN) December 29, 2015 – Public Diplomacy and Regional Stability Initiatives News. Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency NISA has said it is holding two Iranians nationals following security operation on Wednesday. NISA press statement sent to news room said it thwarted nation wide propagation network spearheaded by two Iranian who disguised as diplomats.

The embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran in Mogadishu has denied the accusations saying the two citizens namely Muhsin Hussein and Ruhu Allah Qulam Muhsin are genuine diplomatic staff of the embassy in Somalia and have nothing to do with religious affairs of the Islamic republic. The two whose passport copies were displayed by NISA were detained from Miladu Nabi ( Prophet birthday) celebration event organized by Imam Khomeini relief organization in Mogadishu.

Influential Somali scholars have time and again warned against the presence of Iran in Somalia saying its main goal is spreading what they described as dangerous Shia ideology among the Somali community. Hon. Mohamed Omar Dalha, deputy chair for parliamentary foreign relations committee earlier told Radio Dalsan in an interview that he is smelling Saudi and Iranian political challenge in Somalia. Somalia is a Sunni Muslim and the latest security operations show the country’s intolerance of the Shia sect. Paranoia I’m its best. Iran has helped Somalia in times of need. Let this be not a political circus the truth is If the Somali leaders want to be keeping Somalia safe as a Sunni and Islamic state I would watch the Saudi wahabism which is more dangerous to faith then shia Muslims. At the end of the day somalia does have a shia population minorities and lived in peace together as one. But Saudi Jarabs want to bring ISIS Islam to Somalia.

The Lebanese, Iraqis and the Yemenis would have said we “lived in peace together as one”several years ago. All three countries have seen an explosion of violence because of Iranian supported Militias (Hezbullah, Shia Death Squads, Huthies, respectively). An Excerpt from Vice News story “Iraq Is Torturing and Executing Innocent Citizens, UN Report Says “:
“Amid genocidal slaughter carried out by the Islamic State and extra-judicial killings perpetrated by Shia death squads, the United Nations says the Iraqi government is also torturing its citizens and unjustly sending hundreds of people to the gallows.” – end quote

The Iranian are known to spread their ideology via embassy & funded “centers”. In the last few years Iran has been focussing on east Africa especially Somalia.

Warning of a creeping Danger! Shia in Ethiopia and Africa. The Iranians are bringing the divisive missionary work — often leading to sectarian conflict as evident in the daily violence that occurs in Pakistan and Iraq — inspired by Khomeini’s “Islamic revolution”.
