Kenya: Uhuru Kenyatta Urges Implementation of Common Market Protocol

Nairobi October 16, 2015. Public Diplomacy and Regional Security Initiatives New. Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged the East African Legislative Assembly to accelerate efforts to implement a Common Market Protocol to hasten regional integration. He told a meeting of the assembly in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, that the free movement of people, goods, capital and services within the region will lead to greater economic development.
